Bree, I wouldn't say at all that I am ambivalent about this competition. I want to do well. However, knowing that my picture was going to be very late, I thought that I was doing the right thing by planning on not submitting a picture because I didn't want the other contestants to have to suffer by panel being really late. So just excuse me for trying to do the right thing; that's just my way of thinking.

And Victor, you aren't self-righteous.

Chris, I can't believe how ambivilant you are about the whole thing. You're just like, "Whatever, just post panel without me, I understand." I can't believe the amount of excuses. Seriously? Karasu went to school and volunteered all year and he submitted EVERY picture on time. Ditto for Chantal, Cozy and myself who were in college, Lucy who was in school and learning to drive and such... all of us had stuff to do.
Eff this. I'm goinig to continue to judge, I'll never quit as long as Leigh n' Nigel n' Cozy n' Karasu are involved, because I wuv them, but holy crap man, there's a lot of negativity. I am pretty sure we won't see any more quitters, but for crying out loud, if someone DOES choose to quit:
1) be HONEST, don't quit conveniently after your shoot a week past due and then be like "Oh, I have karate/debate club/spelunking taking up my time." Just be like, "Whatevs. Not fun anymore. Bye."
2) don't do it through someone else.

This cycle's contestants are making Joey a lil tiny bit angry. Just sayin.

No, Victor is saying he will probably "have to" quit if this competition goes to mid-August. Which seems irritating and out-of-character to me considering he ranted and raved every time someone else dropped out and/or was late submitting pics.

No, I did not quit. and NO, I dont wanna quit. However... If this competition stretches into late august, then Yes... I will be leaving. I applaud everyone who were able to do the competition and school at the same time. GREAT FOR YOU!! Very Happy

But I'm not gonna do that. I dont have the same resources at college that I do at home. I wont have a camera, nor will I have access to my wardrobe around the house. And I certainly will NOT have nearly as much time to plan for the shoots. So like I said... If the comp stretches to late august (and even if i make it that far) I will have to drop out.

And PLEASE excuse me for taking this competition seriously. Someone has to!! There are only like 3 of us that are active on this board. If you want me to be more laid back and not give a fuck, then let me know. I am a competitive person. When I entered this game, I wanted to win. I'm sure it wont happen, but its still my goal. And I am not a self-righteous person. I have never claimed to be better than anyone. When I get my negative critiques, I take them in and try to apply them. I never have personally attacked anyone here in any way shape or form. I just told some people to care more about the comp. I am SO sorry for doing that. But I still dont think that warrants me being called self-righteous. But... what do I know. You're a judge, so u must be right....

wowser. let me tell you something.
when i was in this competition, i went to school for 9 hours a day and 6 days a week.
nor did i have the clothes or the money for props that i would've loved in my photoshoots.
but i still did it every week. i tried my hardest to win it and even though i got 7th place, i had someone that was rooting for me even when i was eliminated.

if you're going to quit, you should probably quit right fucking now because it's going to be more irritating if you make it another couple of weeks and then quit when there are people who would've loved another chance to prove themselves and possibly win. Tiffany, be quiet! BE QUIET TIFF-STOP IT!!!!!!! DID YOU KNOW YOU HAD A POSSIBILITY TO WIN? HOW DARE YOU! WE WERE ROOTING FOR YOU! WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU!

bleh, though i'd end my rant on a lighter note.
but all the funny aside, if you're planning on staying in the competition now even though you're seriously considering leaving later on, i hope you get eliminated even if you've got the best damn picture this week.
