Don't Want To Deal With This Anymore

But here's the thing - it's JUST A CONTEST. 90% of the contestants who come on here - myself included - don't want to be REAL models, but this is a really cool thing to try. So honestly, we don't need to take this that seriously.
Honestly, if I may quote Zac and Miri, "Fair? What are we talking about, blood diamonds?" You guys are getting SO up-in-arms about a fifteen-year-old girl sending in pictures for an online contest. Do you want to view it on a macro level and see how pitiful it looks? The reason I'm getting mad is because I hate to see someone quit a competition or leave a board because she doesn't feel welcome when the point of this game is to meet people, have fun, and have a wonderful experience.

no one deserves to be the model who got by on everyone else's quits/default eliminations and was then eliminated for not improving after so many chances.

The reason she's not taking this criticism as a way to help her is because it SEEMS like it is coming from a hateful place and it's just too much criticism. Take it like this, Melissa said some pretty nasty things. Audrey responded but Melissa never responded back. When you and Ava started to say that you think her photos were from her computer, Melissa took that as the oppurtunity to finally "Out" Audrey. I really don't believe that the poll was meant to help Audrey. It just seemed mean spirited and nasty. And when you have 10 people saying that you are "fake" and they don't have any reasons WHY and don't have anything else to say, that can only hurt you. Especially when you never meant anything bad by being in this competition. I'm telling you Melissa meant something completely different when she says "Fake" than you mean.

and, of all people, be the one tell me i was wrong to call someone a drama queen even though it was a mistake that i apologized for, when you've said even worse things about contestants just because they were sending their photos in late?

And another thing, Bree you know I love you, but I'm going to have to disagree with what you said a million percent. Audrey pulling something like this, creating her own thread, and dropping names, immediately calls attention onto herself and to her "quitting". If it was really just about her not feeling welcome, why would she open herself up to the criticism she KNEW she would get for it, as well as opening herself up to the comments like "OMG AuDReY uR sO AwESOme DoN'T leAvE!!! <3" she knew she'd get. We're all just as bad as the people who were "yelling at her" and "not making her feel welcome" because we're giving her thread so much attention. If you want to quit, PM Tyra, don't create a whole thread just so you can watch people debate about you.

But for real, no I haven't been paying attention, but creating her own thread and announcing her quitting just rings horrible memories of strangesounds in my head and doesn't sit well with me, especially if someone is bitching about being unaccepted.
