she's the outrageous singer of the yeah yeahs yeahs and somewhat of a fashion icon. it's perfect that she's doing some of the music for WTWTA because she is willllld.

and although this (click) is disney produced i'm highly suspicious it's going to be one of my favorites of next year.

i'm not keen on a lot of Burton's more recent films, but it might be okay.

I've never read the book, but anything Karen O. is involved in, is worth a looksy. I know a lot of people that are creaming over this movie.

Tim Burton has definitely become underwhelming for a while. Big Fish was 6 years ago and that's the last thing he did that I cared for. This new Alice looks perfectly cast though even if Depp & Bonham Carter are lead characters again

Johnny Depp is the lead in what should be a supporting role. why? because he's clearly taken it up the ass from Burton... for like 20 years or so.

Actually, the Mad Hatter is a dominant role in the film. Tim Burton's take will apparently be different from the original tale, and include-- dare I say it-- a romance between the Mad Hatter and Alice. Johnny Depp, you're a cool actor and I loved you as Sweeney Todd, but get the fuck off the screen, this is Alice in Wonderland.
