and believe it or not, i hated the Jeffree Starr shoot. but that's just because i really don't like Jeffree Starr. except for We Want Cunt. that was a good song.

Luke just played Warped Tour and Jeffree was one of the acts.
As long as you liked MY picture!! The rest of them, i have to say... I was disappointed because my challenge win allowed me to pick the assignments and I thought they'd look sooooo cool. But it just turned out to be Lady With a Funny Hat, Kideo Eating Ice Cream, and Lucy With Pink Hair.

I actually think a lot of it is in your eyes. They look a bit sexual, which thus makes the way you're biting the fruit seem aggressive. Maybe it's the furrowed brows. To me, Wendy's reads "cheeky," yours reads "Mmmmm, this fruit is good, next I'm gonna take a bite outa you."

hahaha... I showed my pics to a few people and they all say I have "sex" in my eyes. I dont want sex in my eyes... how do I get it out?? Mad

that may be it. no one really went for the Jeffree look all that well except you. that's why you won, lol. no, but seriously, i was going back and looking at the photos. i LOVE your face in the pajamas-in-the-grass shoot.

I'd suggest thinking of purer, more peppy and childlike things. You may have to overcompensate if you naturally give "bedroom eyes." Consider something that give you a more vulnerable joy. That might help you relax in your posing in general.
A lot of times when I'm smiling for pictures I think of my little niece, Brooke, who is the cutest and funniest being on the planet. Or I think about how proud I am to go to Laurier. Or I think of my grandpa. Thinking of little innocent things like that make take the sex out of your eyes.
Question: since we all you know you want it really badly, is that what you're thinking about when you're shooting? Seems like what's going through your head is, "I NEED this to be the picture that gets me the top call-out!" or something along those lines. Not that we want you to lose motivation, but don't take it into consideration while you're posing; you should be thinking more about what mood you want to convey and if you let your desire for the competition come in the way, you could come off as a bit desperate.
I for one didn't think your picture this week was awful (I called it third) but I thought it was far from a perfect shot (ahem, Leigh...) because you could see that some of your body just wasn't relaxed. It's the best it's been, but you still have far to go. Consider putting yourself in a more calm, relaxed mood before the next time you shoot.

No problem. Just because you're not my favourite model doesn't mean I want you to get eliminated. I want to see you get better. I know for my worst shot (that terrible ghost shot!!) all I was thining is "I got first call-out last week, I need to KICK ASS this week" and I was concentrating more on how others saw me than my brief.

Victor: i think you need more VARIETY. you said all of your lonely shots are the same, but so are your spy ones. the only difference is that in some of them you're looking right instead of left or you're ass is turned more toward the camera.

for instance, in some of the frames, you could be on the fence, holding up your sunglasses and giving a fierce look. or contorting your body more, but in every single photo you're like, halfway over the fence, giving a look we can't see.

for next week, i think you should try to make all of your pictures have WAAAAAAAAAAY different poses and if you're going to wear something over your eyes, try a few shots WITHOUT it.

i think that'll improve the quality of your photos and give Leigh more to choose from. and he'll be more likely to choose the best frame because i can tell you from all of these, it was like picking "which slight variation of nearly the same exact pose".

I didn't say he chose my worst shot, I said I thought I had better shots. I liked this photoshoot. It was so much fun to do. I thought I had variation in these photos. Well... thats what I thought. lol. And I didn't wanna remove my sunglasses because it was apart of the whole outfit. And you cant really sees my eyes in a lot of my pics anyway, so I didnt think I was losing anything. lol.

there's variation. somewhat. it's like... Cycle 7. remember Christian throwing her hand up over her head for EVERY shot? well, i'm sure there was a little bit of variation in the rest of her body language, but it all pretty much looks the same.

and i didn't say you had to remove the sunglasses, but you could've lifted them to where they're over your forehead and not your eyes. and if you couldn't see your eyes, fight the light and if there is none, find a new location. although, removing the sunglasses and having them in your hand wouldn't have taken away from the outfit and seeing your eyes might've added some spark to the photos.
