My best friend is pregnant.

Here are the facts:
1) Allie had sex for the first time in six months on her eighteenth birthday.
2) The guy had a girlfriend, a bitch that neither of us like named Jen, but she only found out after.
3) Jen is pregnant too, found out last week.
4) Boyfriend wants Jen to get rid of it, doesn't care how but doesn't want to raise it.
5) Boyfriend wants nothing to do with Allie's and does not plan on acknowledging it.
6) Allie wants to keep it and raise it, finish high school, get her undergrad and go to med school.
7) I am too young for my best friend to be having a child.

sounds like this guy is a real ass. did she not use a condom though? because if not, then that's the consequence, but if they did and it just broke, then that sucks. =[

if he's going to try to ignore the fact that he got your friend pregnant, she should have the baby and make sure he has to pay child support for the next 18 years. i'm not sure how that works in Canadia though(inform me!).

You CAN choose to give up your parental rights but there must be a CONSENTUAL signing. And she doesn't want to consend to that because she wants her child to have a father.
Allie didn't use a condom which I was REALLY disappointed in her for considering her sister just had an unplanned child. But I'm not going to lecture her now. She was like, "Yeah, that was super dumb of me, but I could sit here and berate myself for not using protection, or I could focus on the fact that I am pregnant and need a plan." And it's true.

good, then she should make him pay for it if he wants to be so irresponsible.

and yeah, it was dumb not to use a condom, but lecturing is gonna go NOWHERE considering she's already pregnant. i just wanted to know. it seemed like he didn't since he's gotten 2 girls pregnant recently(that you know of). i hope it all goes as un-nasty as it can for her though.

She refuses to keep his role in it a secret. She wants to tell Jen before she makes any decisions. I tink people should know what a scum he is.

I feel bad for her b/c it will be a little rough. However, it's possible. I've known many people with similar situations, and they seem to do fine.

She hasn't told her family yet but considering the situation with her sister they'll be supportive.
It's just going to take her awhile to get her undergrad I think. She'll either have to do correspondence or go part-time.

Tell her never scratch her stomach and use a dry wash cloth when stomach gets itchy...it prevents stretch marks.

A bit over a week ago he was talking to Allie online and was acting like he wanted to hook up again, then five minutes later told her than Jen was pregnant.
He wanted to hook up with another chick while his GF was pregnant.
